Excellent bedside manner; informed me throughout the procedure and listened to my preference of avoiding a GA if at all possible. Team around also very helpful. You are an asset to your organisation!

Thank you for your lovely comments, it is always important to listen to the ladies concerns and whenever possible to avoid unnecessary intervention and still have a positive outcome.

I couldn't thank Lois enough for her kind, caring demeanour. Finally after months of confusion from my GP to other Consultants at the hospital, somebody actually took the time to sit and explain to me the procedures I may have and what they are for.No one explained at my previous appointment what a certain procedure was for.I felt comfortable talking to Lois of my concerns and that I didn't feel comfortable having the procedure. She put me under no pressure, made me feel I was in control of what tests I needed. It was so refreshing and enlightening to actually have someone ask what my symptoms had been the last few months, write them down and make me feel that I wasn't being neurotic or over analysing my symptoms. More Doctors I feel need to take this approach,to actually listen to a patient, their concerns and to not let their medical training over take and to disregard what the patient may feel is happening to their bodies. It is scary enough going to a hospital and not knowing what is happening. There should be other tests available if you feel uneasy about certain procedures that may or may not help a Doctor reach a diagnosis.Lois should be highly praised for her endearing, caring, considerate approach to trying to find the underlying causation of current and past symptoms and trying to find any significant correlation through subsequent, further diagnostic testing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the hysteroscopy clinic. You kind and very positive feedback has touched me and I forwarded this onto my line manager. I do remember your consultation and writing everything down as clearly as possible to assist in trying to find out the cause of you symptoms. I'm equally pleased you did not feel pressurized, understood the tests and more importantly you felt in control. Thank you once again and I would like to wish you well
